Vaccination certificates will not be mandatory for those attending some entertainment and sporting events in Dubai.

It comes as the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing clarified that the capacity limits for "seated events" will be capped at 60 per cent.

However, entertainment activities that involve a standing audience, classified as “free movement” in the directive, are capped at 5,000 attendees and a vaccination mandate.
