His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has launched a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening the emirate’s tourism sector and making it easier for visitors to plan their trips.
The measures include the launch of what Dubai says will be the world’s first city-wide tourism loyalty programme, Dubai Access Club. The programme is an invitation-only tourism membership that offers repeat visitors exclusive experiences, services, and benefits across Dubai.
It also includes the ability for visitors to apply for single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas through the official Visit Dubai website.
An integrated digital platform bringing visitor information and services together in one place is also set to be developed under the Shared Digital Channels Initiative.
The initiatives are due to be implemented in November 2026 and are intended to provide a more seamless experience across different stages of a visitor’s journey.
They are also designed to strengthen visitors’ connection with Dubai and improve access to tourism services across the emirate.
The measures have been developed through joint collaboration between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai, the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai and the Dubai Digital Authority, under the Shared Digital Channels Initiative.
The programme forms part of wider efforts under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position the city among the world’s top three tourism destinations.
