Egyptian President to arrive in UAE for state visit

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is set to arrive in the UAE today for an official state visit.

According to the national news agency WAM, El Sisi will hold talks with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The two leaders will discuss strategic bilateral cooperation and mechanisms to further develop them in various fields.

El Sisi's visit to the UAE is part of efforts to strengthen relations between Egypt and the emirates, and to promote joint Arab action in the region.
