The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) is to step up its efforts to provide winter aid for Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Iraq’s Kurdistan region and Pakistan. Underprivileged families in Bosnia, Albania and other countries in the Balkans will also be helped. The ERC is planning to provide them with shelter, blankets and relief supplies as harsh conditions are expected this winter. It follows work carried out last year to help refugees during the winter months.
