The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) is reinforcing its initiatives to combat water scarcity in Yemen.

According to WAM, they aim to supply Yemeni governorates and regions with drinking water.

The ERC is also reportedly implementing the Hawarim Oaf Al Awamir Water Project in Hadramaut, which will benefit 4,000 people.

The project includes digging up an artesian well in order to link the water supply network to local residents.
