Update: Warehouse gutted in Dubai fire

No injuries or casualties were reported after a fire broke out in a plastic materials warehouse in Deira on Wednesday.

According to Dubai Civil Defence, the facility located in the Al Khabaisi area was left in ruins following the blaze.

The incident was reported at 1:03 pm and by 02:31 pm the flames were brought under control.

"At 04:54 pm, the cooling operations began, before the site was handed over to the authorities to conduct further investigations," said the Civil Defence statement.
