flydubai is reminding passengers to check their travel details ahead of upgrade work at Dubai International.

The northern runway refurbishment project starts Monday, May 9, and continues until June 22, with the airline switching some of its flights to Dubai World Central during the 45-day period.

Other flights will run from Terminals 2 and 3 at Dubai International.

Travellers are being advised to check their departure and arrival airports in advance on flydubai's website, and on their booking confirmations, to ensure they have the correct information.

Passengers travelling from DWC will enjoy complimentary parking at the airport. In addition, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will provide a complimentary bus service between all terminals at DXB and DWC every 30 minutes.

A list of destinations operating from DWC is available at https://www.flydubai.com/en/contact/operational-updates/temporary-operations-to-and-from-DWC.

Passengers booked on flights on other airlines are also encouraged to check departure and arrival details to be 100 per cent sure of their itinerary.
