Satellite provider Yahsat is providing free high-speed internet for students and teachers in remote areas in the UAE.
The move is in support of distance learning, which has been taking place since March 8 across the country.
Both educators and pupils can access e-learning platforms and online libraries, educational applications, and other collaborative platforms.
Ahmed Omran, the company’s Vice President for Communications, tells ARN what areas are covered by the programme:
Yahsat has worked with the Ministry of Education and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) to make the initiative possible.
