Free parking and no toll charges in Abu Dhabi this weekend

Motorists will not have to pay for parking or Darb tolls in the UAE capital on October 8, on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) announced that surface parking will be free of charge from Saturday, October 8, until 7:59 am on Monday, October 10.

No charges will apply for parking spaces at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot as well.

The authority called on drivers to avoid parking in prohibited areas and residential parking spaces from 9:00 pm until 8:00 am.

Meanwhile, the Darb toll gate system will be reactivated on Monday.
