Fujairah fisherman in hot water over shark catch

Authorities say he could have violated a fishing ban.

A fisherman in Fujairah is being investigated after catching a 350 kg shark.

Eid Suleiman could be guilty of hunting the pregnant bull shark during an annual five-month fishing ban of the species.

That means he could be facing a six-month suspension to his fishing licence.

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment says it's leading the investigation in to the incident.
