Fujairah teacher crowned best in GCC

A UAE teacher has been crowned the best educator in the region.

Laila Obaid Salem Mutawa Al Yamahi, an Arabic teacher at the Murbeh Secondary School in Fujairah, received the Mohamed bin Zayed Award for Best GCC Teacher on Sunday night.

She won the award in Abu Dhabi at the conclusion of the annual Qudwa forum.

Over the weekend, a teacher at a private school in Dubai won AED 220,000 for being the Most Inspirational Teacher in the country
