H.H. Sheikh Abdullah, UN's Hadi discuss Gaza crisis

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Muhannad Hadi, Deputy Special Coordinator and Resident Coordinator, Office of the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (UNSCO).

In Abu Dhabi, the two parties discussed the overall developments in the Middle East, the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, and ways to further enhance regional and international efforts to address its repercussions through coordinated and sustainable mechanisms.

The talks touched on the urgent priority of reaching an immediate ceasefire at this stage to protect the lives of all civilians and support efforts to address the difficult humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The UAE welcomed Hadi, highlighting the UAE's firm commitment to the Palestinian people and its full support for Hadi’s efforts to provide the necessary humanitarian response to support civilians in the Gaza Strip and alleviate their suffering.
