UAE, Serbian Presidents discusses bilateral relations

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has explored ways to boost bilateral relations with Serbia, during his official visit to Belgrade.

During the meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Sheikh Mohamed stressed the need for joint action to support peace, stability and development at the regional and global level.

The leaders also affirmed their shared interest in continuing communication and constructive work at all levels to strengthen UAE-Serbian relations, especially in light of their efforts to build sustainable model economic partnerships.

In a Tweet, Sheikh Mohamed said he "discussed the growing bilateral ties between two countries and explored opportunities to further strengthen them both now and in the future".

His Highness was accorded an official reception at the Serbian Presidential Palace, where the national anthems of the UAE and Serbia were played and inspected the guard of honour.
