The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a call from Syrian President Bashar Al Assad.
A WAM report said that there were discussions surrounding the recent developments in Syria and the Middle East.
Furthermore, the two leaders reviewed ways to further ties and advance cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
