His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has credited the key partnership between the public and private sector for accelerating the country's development journey.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted Dubai’s unique growth model, saying it is based on “innovation, openness, and competitiveness,” while hosting a group of citizens, business leaders and officials in Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed that under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE continues to follow a development model rooted in investing in people, openness, innovation and strong community values.

He highlighted that Dubai’s futuristic vision is built upon a competitive and sustainable economy driven by innovation and supported by investment in advanced technology and smart infrastructure.

He emphasised the importance of creating a flexible legislative environment that keeps pace with global economic shifts and meets the aspirations of investors and entrepreneurs.

"Excellence and leadership are not achieved by chance, but through hard work, long-term planning, and the firm belief that nothing is impossible when backed up by an unwavering ambition," Sheikh Mohammed stated.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrui, Minister of Community Development, presented the 'Year of the Community' initiative, calling it a national movement to boost social cohesion, empower citizens and enhance public welfare.

She highlighted key initiatives such as ‘Hewi Dubai’ and the ‘Community Development Fund’, as well as partnerships that have led to employment for over 3,800 people.

She added that 842 public welfare organisations and 70 places of worship for non-Muslims reflect the UAE’s inclusive values and stated that empowering communities is a sustainable, long-term strategy.
