H.H. Sheikh Mohammed praises UAE citizens for never giving up

Challenges never deterred the people of the UAE from pursuing their own path, highlighted H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

In his statement to Nation Shield, the UAE Armed Forces' magazine, on the occasion of the UAE's 50th National Day, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, 'Our major challenge was to challenge ourselves".

"We had to prove our ability to establish an efficient country and an ambitious development model.''

In his statement to Nation Shield, the UAE Armed Forces' magazine, on the occasion of the UAE's 50th National Day, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted how “our major challenge was to challenge ourselves”.

The country, His Highness, noted has stood united and surpassed every challenge with “faith and optimism”.

Looking at some of the major milestones, Sheikh Mohammed shined the spotlight on how the country quickly adapted the blueprint for a digital transformation, expanded the space industry to “create high value-added economic opportunities” and pushed for climate action.

As the country begins the journey towards the next 50, Sheikh Mohammed is confident that “our successful Emirati model will help plan and shape the future, along with our efficient national human resources”.

“Dear citizens, the lessons and experiences of the past 50 years continue to inspire us to be more dedicated to serving our country. With you, and by you, we will add new achievements and will take our Emirati model to broader domains. We will continue our progress and our goal to be the number one in all sustainable development indexes,” he concluded.
