Head of Al Azhar praises UAE’s role in spreading peace

The Grand Imam of Al Azhar has praised the UAE’s role in promoting peace and tolerance.

Dr. Ahmed Al Tayyeb said the Emirates’s leadership is paving the way for world peace. 

The leader of the Islamic seminary in Egypt said the money he received from winning the Human Fraternity Award-Dar Zayed in February would be donated to charity.

The award was granted to Dr. Al Tayyeb and Pope Francis by the UAE for their joint efforts in spreading global peace and coexistence.
