Teams from Ras Al Khaimah Police and the National Search and Rescue Centre carried out the evacuation on Tuesday after they were alerted about a 46-year-old German, who injured his leg while tackling the rugged site.

Using auxiliary operational systems, the officials checked the site and evacuated the trekker to Saqr Hospital, while maintaining all COVID-19 guidelines.
