King Charles to deliver opening address at COP28

King Charles III of the United Kingdom will attend the opening ceremony of the World Climate Action Summit at COP28 UAE on Friday, December 1.

He will deliver an opening address at the Summit to be held in Dubai.

"While in the UAE, the King will take the opportunity to have meetings with regional leaders, ahead of COP28," Buckingham Palace said on Wednesday.

The crucial climate talks to be held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12 will be the 28th such gathering of world leaders under UN auspices known as COPs, which stands for Conference of the Parties.
