Liwa gears up to host major showcase of UAE military capabilities

The UAE's Armed Forces will showcase their capabilities and combat readiness during the 11th Union Fortress military parade in Liwa City this December.

Organised by the Ministry of Defence, the event will highlight the advanced capabilities of the Armed Forces through field demonstrations showcasing the coordination, professionalism and readiness of various military units.

Held under the theme "An Impregnable Fortress, a Resilient Nation and a Determined People", the parade aims to reinforce national pride and highlight the role of the Armed Forces in safeguarding the UAE's security, stability and achievements.

Alongside the military displays, visitors will be able to explore the Union Fortress family entertainment village, featuring live broadcasts of the parade, interactive games, exhibitions, workshops and heritage performances.

Preparations are currently under way in coordination with government and private sector partners ahead of the event, which will take place in the Al Dhafra Region.
