The minimum taxi fare in Sharjah has increased by AED 1.50. The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority announced that the rate has risen from AED 10 to AED 11.50, citing the recent fuel price hike as the reason of the increase. The new rule has been implemented since Thursday, October 15.
