Three more driver licensing services in Dubai are set to move completely to electronic platforms.

These include applications for driving licence renewals, replacing lost or damaged ones, and the issuance of experience certificates for drivers.

From mid-June, these services will not be available at the Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) customer happiness centres.

They can only be done through the RTA website, app and other smart platforms.

"Applications for renewing driver licences are now provided through the RTA’s Dubai Drive App, website, self-service kiosks and approved eyesight testing centres," said Sultan Al Marzooqi, Director of Drivers Licensing at the RTA's Licensing Agency.

"The replacement of lost/damaged driver licence service is available through the RTA App and website, while applications for drivers’ experience certificates are now open through the RTA website, Dubai Drive App and self-service kiosks," he added.
