Municipality receives 3,100 calls from residents due to flooding

Dubai Municipality received 3,100 calls from residents in flooded areas across the city.

In response, 3,000 workers were sent to different parts in Dubai to help drain accumulated rainwater and remove waste from the roads. 

Dozens of vehicles, 35 pumps and drainage stations were also dispatched to ensure efficiency.

Meanwhile, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) dispatched around 245 pumping vehicles, tanks and emergency cars to clear waterlogging that had blocked several roads in the emirate.
