Motorists in Dubai will no longer need to display paper parking tickets on car windshields.
From Monday, parking machines in the emirate will start issuing e-tickets, instead.
That's according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), which added that the machines have been upgraded, and will now display an interactive touch-screen window.
Drivers can type in their vehicle number and duration of parking, and pay using coins or Nol card.
In January, the Dubai Media Office had announced the RTA's plan of introducing interactive parking meters.
