Doctor training programmes are getting a boost in the UAE, thanks to medical equipment donated by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) US. The organisation has donated AED 3.6 million worth of TraumaMan surgical simulators that will improve medical training while saving animals. The Fujairah Hospital received the simulators that actually mimic human anatomy, resulting in better training for doctors.
