Public parking fees suspended in Dubai, Sharjah

Authorities in Dubai and Sharjah have suspended public parking fees until Monday.

Making the announcement, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Sharjah municipality said parking meters will be reactivated on Tuesday, May 17.

The decision coincides with the suspension of work in ministries, federal and local departments and the private sector in mourning for the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
