Ramadan: Abu Dhabi updates parking, toll fees timings

Motorists in Abu Dhabi can park for free between 2:00 pm and 9:00 pm during the month of Ramadan.

From Saturday to Wednesday, the parking fees will be applicable from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and then again from 9:00 pm to 2:30 am.

Meanwhile, on Thursdays, motorists will need to pay for parking from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and then from 9:00 pm to midnight.

According to the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), people attending Tarawih prayers will be exempt from the charges in the parking bays surrounding mosques during prayer time, as long as their vehicles are not blocking the flow of traffic.

Darb toll gate

The Darb toll gate system's peak hours will change during Ramadan. The fees will be applicable from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Saturday to Thursday).

Bus Services

Abu Dhabi and its suburbs: Public buses will be available in Abu Dhabi City and its suburbs according to its usual schedule except for A10, A20, A40, 405 and 406 which will run until 6:00 pm only.

Most of the routes' frequency will remain the same whereas service no. 26 will be cancelled starting from the first day of Ramadan. 

Al Ain and its suburbs: Bus network in Al Ain and its suburbs will be amended during Ramadan as follows:

Customer Happiness Centres

The centres in Rabdan area, Abu Dhabi and Al Jahili, Al Ain will be working from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Sunday to Thursday).
