Companies in Dubai can now renew their vehicles’ registration online. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a ‘Smart Renewal’ facility through its website, which aims to ease congestion at customer service centres. Firms can avail the service within 90 days before the expiry of their vehicles’ registration, while payment can be done through their account in the RTA’s e-purse. The latest initiative is in line with Dubai’s efforts to be ranked as the smartest city in the world.
