Ruler of Sharjah awarded 'Mother of the Nation' honour

Ruler of Sharjah has been honoured with the Order of the Mother of the Nation medal.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, awarded His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his support for community issues. 


Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad was also recognised for his humanitarian and cultural efforts both in the UAE and abroad. 

In a tweet, Sheikh Mohamed described the Sharjah ruler as an "exceptional and inspiring leader who is able to combine the powers of thought, science and action".
