Saudi-led coalition intensifies fight in Taiz

The Saudi-led coalition has intensified its attacks against the Houthi rebels in Taiz. According to Yemeni sources, the coalition launched aircraft raids and bombed a weapons depot at Taiz International Airport, which has been under Houthi control. Meanwhile, the country’s President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has returned from exile to the southern city of Aden, which is now the provisional capital. He will oversee the current battle against the Houthi rebels and will coordinate efforts for ‘Operation Restoring Hope’, which the UAE is a part of.
