Sharjah Police instigates initiative to reduce traffic points

WAM

A new Traffic Points Reduction Programme is being promoted by Sharjah Police.

It's designed as a series of remote lectures, to cut time and effort for auditors.

The programme also aims to reduce traffic points on driving licences, by re-qualifying drivers and providing them with more knowledge about the rules and regulations of the UAE's roads.

It's being launched on the Sharjah Police website, in cooperation with the Sharjah Driving Institute.

Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director-General of Central Operations, Sharjah Police, said it will add to the force's efforts to develop electronic services and modern technology to make roads safer for all users.
