Sheikh Abdullah, Barbara Leaf discuss urgent need for Gaza ceasefire

UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reiterated the need for a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza during talks with US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara A. Leaf in Abu Dhabi.

The diplomats discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the humanitarian implications of the current crisis.

Sheikh Abdullah stressed the need to put an end to the extremism and violence in Gaza and demanded intensified efforts to ensure humanitarian aid is delivered to impacted civilians in a sustainable manner.
