Sheikh Abdullah, Japanese counterpart discuss cooperation

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held talks with his Japanese counterpart Yoshimasa Hayashi in Tokyo as part of his Asia tour.

Highlighting the strong relations between the countries, the UAE minister noted that the signing of the strategic partnership between the two nations in September 2022 had enhanced the ties further.

The ministers also explored ways to further expand cooperation across various fields, including economic, trade, industrial and investment.

They looked into a number of issues of common concern, including climate change and the UAE's preparations ahead of hosting COP28 this year in Dubai Expo City.
