Shopping centre in Dubai suffers temporary power failure

It’s business as usual at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates following a brief power outage on Monday afternoon.

In a statement, the shopping centre’s operator Majid Al Futtaim said that a technical issue triggered the problem.

It added that standard procedures were followed to ensure the safety of visitors and tenants.

The incident occurred as heavy rain lashed Dubai and other parts of the UAE on Monday.

Earlier today, Mall of the Emirates faced a temporary power outage due to a technical issue. 

Standard procedures were followed to ensure the safety of visitors and tenants. The matter was resolved immediately and business is as usual at the mall. 

We apologise for the inconvenience caused to both our tenants and visitors.
