Ras Al Khaimah's Jebel Jais received snow early Sunday, after heavy rainfall and strong winds hit parts of the UAE over the last 48-hours.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the unstable weather conditions are set to clear after Monday.

Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah Police took to their official Twitter handle to urge motorists to refrain from driving through valleys and to avoid speeding.

On Thursday, authorities announced that roads leading to the emirate's mountainous areas will also be closed off to ensure the public's safety.
