UAE announces 304 new cases of COVID-19, 701 recoveries

The UAE has announced 304 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 42,294.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), this comes after more than 43,000 new coronavirus tests were carried out nationwide.

It has also confirmed that one person has died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 289.

Meanwhile, 701 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 27,462 in the country.
