UAE announces 437 new cases of COVID-19, 577 recoveries

The UAE has announced 437 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 47,797.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), this comes after more than 58,000 coronavirus tests were carried out nationwide.

The ministry has also confirmed that two more person has died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 313.

Meanwhile, 577 people have recovered from the virus, making the total number of recoveries 36,411 in the country.

There are currently 11,073 active cases at the moment in the UAE.
