UAE announces 541 new cases of COVID-19, 331 recoveries

The UAE has confirmed 541 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 70,231.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 82,000 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

The number of recoveries has gone up to 60,931 after another 331 people received the all-clear.

The ministry has also reported two deaths caused by the virus, which now takes the overall death toll to 384.

This means that there are currently 8,916 active cases in the country.
