UAE, Canada review bilateral ties

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, has reviewed bilateral ties with his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand during a phone call.

The ministers explored various areas of cooperation and discussed joint initiatives to strengthen ties.

They emphasised the importance of developing relations in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations and supports the prosperity and well-being of their citizens.

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated Anand on her recent appointment and expressed his keenness to work closely with her to further deepen collaboration between the two countries.

This diplomatic engagement follows President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s congratulatory message to Mark Carney on becoming Prime Minister of Canada, after the Liberal Party secured a fourth term in the recent federal elections.
