UAE chairs global taskforce to combat child sexual abuse

The UAE is chairing the Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT), an international alliance created to combat online child sexual abuse. It’s taking over the rotating presidency from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for the next three years. The VGT consists of law enforcement agencies and private sector partners. The UAE, represented by the Ministry of Interior, officially became a member in May 2010.
