UAE authorities have announced on Tuesday morning that air forces were responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran.
In a post on X, the Ministry of Defence affirmed that the sounds heard are of interception operations from its defence systems.
An alert has also been shared at 7:35 am urging the public to remain in a safe area.

A second alert was shared at 8:09 am announcing that the situation is safe and operations can resume normally while remaining cautious.
