In response to the devastating floods that have affected several regions of Somalia, the UAE has sent 700 tonnes of urgent food supplies to those in need.
The shipment, directed by the UAE's leadership, aims to provide critical support to approximately 150,000 flood-impacted individuals and their families.
Ahmed Juma Al Rumaithi, the UAE Ambassador to Somalia, emphasized that this aid reflects the UAE’s strong commitment to supporting Somalia during these challenging times.
He stressed that the initiative underscores the enduring friendship between the two nations and the UAE's dedication to working with both local and international partners to deliver much-needed assistance and help accelerate the recovery process.
