UAE embassy in Canada hosts fundraiser in support of Canadian Cancer Society

The UAE Embassy in Canada has hosted a charity fundraiser in honour of the Canadian Cancer Society. During the event, Mohammed Saif Hilal Al Shehhi, UAE Ambassador to Canada, presented a donation of US$10,000 to the organisation. In his speech, he reiterated the UAE's keenness to further strengthen its already significant role in fields of humanitarian and charitable work. He also praised relations between the UAE and Canada which, in the last year, resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Bilateral Understanding.
