UAE landmarks have been lit up in the colours of the Libyan flag in a show of support for those affected by Storm Daniel.
Dubai's Burj Khalifa and Adnoc’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi displayed messages of solidarity as the death toll rose to 5,300.
In a post on social media, the UAE Media Office wrote: "To the brotherly people of Libya. You have our sincere condolences. Our hearts and prayers are with you."
