The UAE has launched an urgent humanitarian mission to assist communities affected by Hurricane Melissa, which devastated parts of Jamaica, Haiti and Cuba.
In coordination with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency, the UAE Aid Agency has dispatched emergency relief supplies, including food and shelter materials.
The initiative also includes infrastructure assistance to help speed up recovery efforts.
Dr. Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri, Chairman of the UAE Aid Agency, said the swift response reflects the nation’s ongoing mission to deliver life-saving assistance and help communities recover quickly.
He added that the UAE will continue working with international partners to ensure access to food, medicine and shelter for those in need.
