UAE leaders praise soldiers back from Yemen

The UAE's leaders have praised the country's Armed Forces for their mission in Yemen.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, took to Twitter to "celebrate and honour [the] heroes for their participation in the Arab Coalition in Yemen". 

Sheikh Mohamed commended the soldiers calling them a true "embodiment of the spirit of the UAE".

The Ruler of Dubai also welcomed back the UAE soldiers who've returned from Yemen on Sunday.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, commended the Armed Forces' contribution to the coalition's mission.

Sheikh Mohammed also celebrated the humanitarian work carried out in 22 governorates, which benefited millions of families.

He also called the soldiers the "protectors of the union" as they returned to the Emirates.
