UAE mourns victims of Dominican Republic building collapse

The UAE has extended its condolences to the Dominican Republic following a devastating building roof collapse that left hundreds dead and injured.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the Caribbean nation, its people and the families affected by the tragedy.

The Ministry also wished a swift and full recovery to all those injured in the incident.

The collapse occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday at the Jet Set nightclub during a crowded concert by merengue singer Rubby Perez, who was among those killed.
