UAE President awards Order of Zayed to King of Jordan

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the Order of Zayed on Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.

It's the highest honour granted by the UAE to heads of state and world leaders.

This accolade recognises King Abdullah II's efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two nations, as well as his substantial contributions to the growth of these relations at every level.

During the ceremony at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, the Jordanian King thanked Sheikh Mohamed and expressed pride at being honoured with an order carrying the name of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, a figure revered worldwide for his humanitarian efforts.

Sheikh Mohamed appreciated His Majesty's efforts to bolster ties and advance cooperation across diverse areas.
