UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a letter from Australia's Prime Minister.

The message addressed bilateral relations between the two countries.

The note was in reply to a message that was earlier sent by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa congratulating Scott Morrison on his re-election as Prime Minister.

Morrison's letter also addressed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the economic, commercial and military fields.

The Australian PM also commended the support given by the UAE to their counter-terrorism efforts.
