UAE ranked first globally for quality of roads

The UAE leads the way for highly developed quality of roads. That’s according to the Global Competitiveness Report issued by the World Economic Forum, which ranks the Emirates first in the Quality of Roads Indicator. The ranking was awarded as a result of the infrastructure projects in the country aimed at achieving the UAE 2021 vision, to promote the country’s stature globally. Other honours won by the UAE include the International Road Federation's Award for Asset Preservation & Maintenance Management.
